Don Roberts is a veteran, attorney, and lifelong public servant running to represent Ohio’s 25th District in the State Senate. With more than 20 years of legal experience, Don has dedicated his career to serving families, protecting communities, and navigating complex legal challenges. As the founder of Don Roberts Law Office, he has represented clients across Ohio in civil, criminal, and administrative matters — including divorce, custody, juvenile law, expungements, contracts, and labor law.
Before opening his practice, Don served as a Supervising Attorney with The Legal Aid Society of Columbus, where he led a team of attorneys and staff while handling complex litigation in family law, housing law, expungements, and driver’s license reinstatement cases. Earlier in his career, he practiced family law and criminal defense, gaining extensive courtroom experience and developing a reputation for thoughtful, strategic advocacy.
Don earned his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and holds a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.
A United States Air Force veteran and former police officer, Don understands public safety from every angle — in uniform, in the courtroom, and in the community. His background gives him a practical perspective on strengthening justice systems while ensuring accountability and protecting families. He is running for State Senate to bring steady judgment, real-world experience, and a commitment to safe communities and responsible government to the people of Ohio’s 25th District.
